Be daring. Be different. Be fabulous.
Here at F&F we absolutely adore Rachel Zoe. From her phenomenal sayings to her iconic style choices she is always on point. With many memorable looks filling her past, it was hard to even imagine her looking less than perfect. However, at the Golden Globes she proved that everybody has those days…

We’re not sure if it’s the eyebrows, the lack of color, or the pulled back hair but this makeup choice really ages Zoe. What do you think?

Maybe it’s natural beauty, maybe it’s (well-applied) Maybelline ! We here at F&F think that Kim’s face always look flawless. However, you can’t believe everything you see in mags or on television. Her perfectly contoured cheekbones and super sleek nose aren’t exactly “natural.” Her makeup artist makes it a point to remove blemishes, add shadows, and even out her complexion. Don’t compare yourself to this heightened ideal of beauty; you don’t have a whole makeup team to help you look gorgeous in the morning. (Not that you need it !)

As fall approaches, it’s time to stop wearing neon lipsticks and start the transition into deeper, darker shades like the one pictured here. Brights may look great with your tan, but as you go from glowing to pale, you’ll want to try out warmer colors. If you’re a bit nervous about the darker, more vampy look, look to Azealia Banks and Rihanna for inspiration.

In the 1900s women did not have it as easy as we do today. The picture above is an example of what mascara looked like back in the day. Yup! No neat little tube with a perfectly sized brush, just this bulky thing.

It’s amazing to see that even in the world of makeup, things really have evolved. This vintage mascara set was actually available on Etsy.com. Unfortunately, some lucky shopper has already snatched it up! This is definitely a piece I’d love to add to my collection. And to think this was only a century ago!

Different colors can do amazing things for unique eye colors. The blending of different shades of purple cause this girls blue eyes to really pop. So much so that a when you stare long enough, it seems as though her eyes are a little purple themselves. With such a dramatic color, and those mega lashes, not much more needs to be added to her face. Remember that you really only need to have one focal point, anything more is overkill.

The Party Look
By: Jenna T.
The smokey eye is a great and easy way to look glamorous at a party! Start off by covering the eyelid in shimmery silver eye shadow, then take a smaller, sturdier brush and add black or dark grey shadow in the outer corners of the eyes. Then, use a soft, medium-sized brush to blend the two colors so it doesn’t look choppy. Add a thin line of black eyeliner and some mascara to make your eyes pop. Finish off with curled hair and some flirty red lip stain!

The Natural Glow
By: Jenna T.
The natural glow is great if you want to achieve a sun kissed, beachy look! Apply bronzers that match your skin tone without making yourself look too orange, and be sure to use a large brush to blend different shades of brown and pink to see which combination works best for you. Keep eye makeup to a minimum by only using mascara and a little bit of brown eyeliner. Top it off with some tousled hair and clear gloss and you’ll look like you just left the beach!

Get ready for the Fabulous Five! A week of guest bloggers.

Next week, from Monday to Friday, we will be featuring a different guest blogger every single day. Here at F&F, we have searched all over to bring you five fabulous ladies from across the world, who will share some amazing tips and tricks in the area of BEAUTY. We’re talking nails, hair, makeup, and everything in between. There will be a ton of fabulous ideas, all geared towards the summer and the transition into fall.

Before each blogger makes her F&F debut, we’ll publish a short bio and photo of her. The next day she’ll be published, and after reading her post you can leave any questions or comments that you may have. Although the guest bloggers won’t be blogging with us forever, they will have officially become members of our Fabulous Family, so they’re only an email away.

Some of the ladies who you will read have their own blogs, and some are followers just like you! If you are interested in being a guest blogger for Fabulous & Featured, send us an email at fabandfeatured@gmail.com and we’ll set something up.

I have been talking to a lot of ladies, and they are all super excited for this week of collaborations. If all goes well, this is definitely something you’ll be seeing a lot more of in the future!

Get excited and remember to Stay Fabulous.

xoxo,

Ahlia
