Look for Less: Houndstooth Pants
Last week F&F favorite, Carly M. was spotted in these adorable houndstooth pants. A few days later I came across this photo of former Pussycat Dolls lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger, in an identical pair of pants. After some digging, I found out that Nicole’s pants were by J Brand and cost her around $230! Carly’s on the other hand were a great buy from Target for under 30 bucks. Isn’t that incredible? Both of these gals look amazing in this fall trend, but Carly’s eye for a great deal definitely outshines Nicole’s.
Some items, such as one-of-a-kind pieces, or vintage finds may be worth the extra coin, but when it comes to trends: look for the deal! Carly is the epitome of a true fashionista because she knows how to mix and match. She’s been known to splurge on a Nordstrom shopping spree, but only on pieces that are really worth it. Well done Carly, stay fabulous.
