DIY Lace Shorts
We forgot to mention that you can make a pair of awesome lace shorts yourself! Instructions are below.

Materials:

-Pair of denim cutoffs
-Two pieces of triangular-shaped lace or a doily (You can go to a fabric store or order this online)
-Scissors
-Pins
-Needle and thread

Step 1:
Cut the lace along the edges to create a rough outline of a triangle. Be sure to cut off the straight edge exterior lining. You want to be left with the cute curved design.

Step 2:
Line up the lace to the side seam and bottom of the shorts. Use your pins to secure it in place.

Step 3:
Cut out all of the short fabric visible from behind the lace. Leave about 1/4 to 1/2 an inch of fabric on the inside. There shouldn’t be an excess.

Step 4:
Thread your needle with 12 inches of white thread. Tie a know to secure it.

Step 5:
Start at the seam and sew the lace into the seam of the shorts. Use as straight of a stitch as possible. Do this all around the shorts, you want the lace to be secure.

Step 6:
Knot the thread and repeat the beginning steps on the other shorts leg.

Step 7:
Find a cute top, some fabulous sandals and strut your stuff!
